I was admitted on 31 Mar 2014 and discharged on 02 Apr 2014 from Pushpanjali crosslay hospital , Ghaziabad. I was in office when I had health problem.
The doctor asked me if I had any health issues earlier to which I replied that – I had health problem twice in the past after I have consumed alcohol. However on the day I got admitted, I had not consumed alcohol which was also verified by the Doctors in their reports. On this Alocohol basis Medi Assist is not honoring my claim of Rs. 32673, saying that this problem aroused due to consumption of alcohol.
I have provided doctor’s certificate stating that I was not under the influence of alcohol the day I was admitted – I had consumed alcohol about 3 months back.
Now Medi Assist has changed their statement and saying that it was not a serious health problem and Hospitalization for 3 days was not required.
I (including my HRs and company) are engaged in mail communication with Medi Assist but they are still refusing to honor my claim. After this I contacted National Insurance Company but they have not replied to my mails for last 2 weeks. Now, please help me to get my claim amount from Medi Assist and National Insurance Company.
I have suffered a lot financial and mental consequences due to this behavior of Medi Assist and National Insurance company. Which is as follows:

2. Interest of amount(I took loan to pay hospital bills): 1500
3. Travel (visits to hospital for proofs and letters): 500
