Fraud payment done for Airtel money using my SBI card

I am having a SBI Visa platinum card number 4377 4869 9415 3581. On 11 Jun 2014 I received a call from number 8953501837 saying that the person is calling from SBI card and if I want to redeem my reward points. And in terms of verification he asked my card details to cross check. Also asked verification code on my cell which received. I was in a hurry to go back from work, so it was not clicked that someone is doing a fraud call.

I received SMS of airtel money payment bill desk that Rs 4953 payment has been done from your card. I immediately communicated this to SBI help desk executive, he locked my card. Also I asked him if I would file a police complaint of this call. But he said SBI cards FRAUD AGENCY will take card of it and he lodged my complaint MQ0131625229211, also I lodged complaint with Airtel.
I filed complaint with Airtel money also, but neither SBI nor Airtel ready to take any action against it. That person maybe cheat another cardholders like me. Hence please take appropriate action.

    Similar happened 2 hours back with me. I lodge the complain for the same in few moment at all the site.

    I am having a SBI card number ending with 4971. 2 hours ago, I received a call from number 9958045781 saying that the person is calling from SBI card that there is reversal of some payment done on 23 Nov 2013. And in terms of verification he asked my card details to cross check. Also asked verification code on my cell which received. I was in a hurry to go back from work, so it was not clicked that someone is doing a fraud call. He was calling since past one week. I received email of airtel money payment bill desk that Rs 5050 payment has been done from your card. I immediately communicated this to SBI help desk executive, SBI locked my card. SBI cards FRAUD AGENCY will take card of it and SBI lodged my complaint MQ0132871766392, Also I lodged complaint with Airtel AM101400008 .

    Transaction of Rs.5,050.00 made on SBI Credit Card XX4971 at AIRTEL PYMT-BILLDESK on 14 Oct 14 .

    Similar event happened with me 2 hours back.

    I have logde the complain on Airtel as well SBI. Same will be lodge with police.

    I also received calls on 16th october 2014and 29th october 2014 saying that they were calling from SBI.card , asking the details of my card so that it the points could be redeemed. And immediately I got SMS on both days saying that transaction of rs4950 and rs4951 has been made at airtel. Ridiculous that I didn’t make any purchase. The second time I genuinely thought that they were resolving my first dispute but later I realised it was also a fraud. If SBI card and the AIRTEL can help me get back my money.

    Hi,

    I am a senior citizen and an SBI pensioner.

    This happened to me, last evening and I immediately alerted the SBI card helpdesk. My card has been blocked on request, but this is a serious issue and I would request concerned authorities to take necessary action.

    Both of them introduced themselves as SBI card verification department. Though initially I did not suspect the caller, at a certain stage, he insisted on knowing the 7 digit number appearing on the reverse of the card. When I refused, I was threatened that my account will be blocked.

    I received OTP sms from AM-SBICARD and also AIRTEL MONEY transaction for 4925.00.

    This is just to alert authorities, to take necessary action and fellow card holders to be on guard.

    This going serious. Happened to me last month and lost 4950 and SBI Credit card said it is a legitimate one. Same happened 20 minutes back to me

    SBI Organisation will never give resolution in favor of customer, finally losing customer with / without settlement and satisfaction.

    Inspite of logging FIR, complains on SBI customer centre, blocking the card (in 15 minutes of fraud transaction) and following emails with SBI, Today I have received the letter from SBI stating that – “Details related with credit card were shared to the Fraud company, so transaction will not be reverted and has to pay all amount along with other charges”.

    Do SBI do not have any system to take the money back if reported as fraud in next 15 minutes?
    This is height to put off all credit card from my wallet as big name vendors could not settle small issue of Rs. 5050 and willing to loose customer.

    There is no ownership with big giants and name SBI.

    This being a big pain in our society. Even it happen to me, they managed to get details over the phone till CVV and was eager to get the OTP. I understood that could be fraudlent and I disconnected the call. From there on I havent received such fraudlent calls and I reported to SBI and requested for replacement of the card. If you guys have the SMS or call received details of any kind of proof, it is better to send the screenshots to Media and explain the situations. Probably they will make people aware of such frauds and provide some preventive actions of which they might have experienced already. They may bring pressure on the police to take up the complaints, if the banks are not will to cancel the transaction or refund the transaction amount.

    Airtel money has become a Fraudulent Bank ,which stores money from fraud customers without authorizing them .

    I really doubt the credibility of Airtel Money because when so many Fraudulent transactions are happening to Airtel money it crew is not taking any Preliminary steps to Stop this in flow of Fraudulent money , which has come from Fraudulent means and this
    Leads to Questions like

    1.Does Airtel money saves Card details if any Transaction that happens with Credit cards or debit cards .
    2.Fraudsters are not scared of making transactions to Airtel money because fraudsters think that Airtel money’s Managers and its crew doesn’t go for any background verification on the fraudster Airtel money account even if Customers complaint against fraud Transactions .

    3.Airtel Money has become a safe place for fraudsters for saving the money , that has come in an illegal way for them .

    sir today I received a call today from a Lady telling that this is a verification call and her no is 7042262246. she was asking the details of my card no I told I don’t have my card at present then I told call me after 2 pm then again she called me at 2 pm on the same day that is on 22-09-2015. and asked 2 take out my card and she was asking my card number and I told them and asked validity I told them and asked date of birth I told and then my call was transfers to some other fellow he again asked every thing I told them but at last he told that verification is over and a last verification is left then he asked my cvv no. when he asked my cvv no sudden Iremembered that cvv shed not be told to any body I asked them y shed I tell I was in DOUBT THEN I told him I can never share it sory .then he cut the phone
    later I consulted SBI customer care from where I came to it was a fraud call. really thanx to SBI for regular messages on fraud caller.I saved myself .after that I told sbi to block my card and issue a new one. so friends please don’t disclose any info with any body .please be aware. metho bal bal bachgaya. kya mein complaint jar sakthahu police me pls tell

    Airtel money is drawing money from wallets illegally and sending the message txn done.RBI should take action against all these wallet business frauds otherwise india will become fraud nation

    I paid Rs. 3700 for postpaid airtel 9501877779 bill from my sbi debit card.. Payment deducted but bill not clear… Airtel bill desk service is poor

    Same happened to me on 6-May-2016. The lady called from mobile no. 9619752413 and she said she was from citibank card verification team and wanted to cash bank some reward points. She had all my details with her. She was able to say my card no, account no, my address even. I didnt suspect anything because of so much info. I even insisted i wont share the info for which one of her superior spoke convincingly. An amount of Rs.4800 was debitted for AIRTEL PAYMENT. This issue should be looked into immediately to prevent these frauds.

    Airtel money wallet is themselves thief and fraud, I tried to recharge my number for rs 1095 but it didn’t , again I tried but again it didn’t. After two minutes I got two messages from bank that rs 1095 has been deducted from your bank account. Means I lost 2190 was deducted from my account. When I called customer care they asked me to mail bank account statement , I mailed them that too along with messages I received from bank and airtel . it has been 14 days but still there is no response. My airtel money no is 9050522234, so I suggest to go for paytm and mobikwik like wallet. Never trust on airtel. This is a big scam.

    On 7th of July , I fell prey to a fraud caller who claimed himself from SBI Cards. He duped me of a total amount of 9860 INR which SBI cards also identified as fraud transactions and itself blocked the account for which I am thankful, the 3 fraud transactions are as seen below. The person who called me knew the exact redeem points in my account and gave me an option to convert them to money which he shall be credited to my account. I had informed the SBI fraud department for this as well on the 8th of July. I request you to kindly look into this matter.

    I am alsogotsame call and they haven taken both credit and debit card details from my end to reedem the points for that i lost total 14k its very pathetic for me kindly requesting any solution how to get the money back.

    I have also got call from same number for reward points and card number the same info that other had told earlier. When he ask me for OTP , I came to know that its fake call and immediately scold him. so he hand off the phone.

    Dear Sir / Madam,

    I would like to bring the following link to your atention received in my mobile number as a sms on 06 December 2017.

    http://cashvoucherpoint.com

    The link opens a form and collectes SBI credit card confidentail information along with registered mobile number where the OTP shared by the bank.

    Link becomes inactive at month end or after collecting sufficent information, credit card is hacked and money is transfered to Airtel Money (merchant).

    I personally know SBI card holders who have invalid transaction done to Airtel Money of amount 10000 and 9999 without OTP sharing or authentication. Airtel money, SBI credit card and VISA are suppose to take responsibility for the fake transaction.

    When called them,they informed I have added a internet booster … N when I asked of any record..they clearly denied … Number got suspended now(9213779757)
    Never ever recommend Airtel to anyone …anyone….

    Dear Sir

    I have been using SBI credit card and few days back on 19th Dec , i started receiving series of OTPs and finally transaction happened of amount Rs 10000 and then again after few minutes a transaction happened for Rs 9999, i never authorized the transactions and these were done to AIRTEL MONEY , which i am not able to understand. I called up SBI immediately and blocked the card, and sent a dispute form to them, and after 3 days, they replied to me that transaction was secured and nothing could be done . they disowned the transaction. this is pity that , these are fraud transactions happening and i am not at fault , but they are not willing to help.
    Even when i am asking the number // account where the money was transferred , they are not replying on that. They could easily validate by checking IPs and airtel money details , and when the transaction was initiated from my IPs , but nothing has happened.

    Can somebody help me ?

    What happend to you exactly happened to me on 1 December 2017 and I have a credit of 19999 in my SBI card to be paid. The fraud transaction was done to Airtel Money. We the genuine consumer are helpless.

    Dear All,
    I received a call from a girl called Arthi from mobile no 8860329478 to my mobile informing that she is speaking from sbi card and that they are sending a new crdeit card with photo. I refused divulge my card details. The n I received an SMS from 8744836426 stating that xxxxxx card was dispatched by couries and susequent message that my card was deactivated purpoted to be from State bank. Then Arthi called again stating that to see the SMS and requested to furnish the CVV. She told me that y card gwas deacivated and the new card should contain the same CVV for continous process. Further being a privelged customer my reward points plus another 10000 will be added in the new card.Another SMS with otp was received she called again to confirm when I repeated she said it was wrong and asked to awaiththe new sms for otp. I repated the otp. another message. I called again she told me not to worry as there reduction in my credit . Then similar message and atlase i lost a sum of Rs 19995 in two transactions of Rs 9998 and 9997.I have blocked the card and also raised a dispute with SBI card on the same day..The fradulent transaction have gone to airtel payment desk. On hindsight i feel that there is a leakkage of data from SBI card as some of the details were known to the girl .I am waithing in the fond hope of reversal.

    I would like to inform that SBI cards at the earliest instance has absolved its liability towards the fraudulent transactions. I must say that SBI cards has abdicated its responsibility towards the card holder especially when the payments have been confirmed on 4.1.2018 after my complaint on 3.1.2018. I strongly feel that there is a leakage of data from SBI cards.Don’t they have the responsibility to file a complaint as the SBI cards have been fictitiously and name has been tarnished and further prevent such actions in future.

    On 11-2-2018 one lady by name Priya Sharma posing as executive from S B I has telephoned to me that my present debit card will be converted into photo card and asked me to give details of the present card including all the nos behind the card she talked so nicely and i am eligible for 10000 reward points which I can convert into cash any the present card gets deactivated , Sheaso said this moey o f 7000 rs is sent immediately,she said a message wiil come for 700 0 rs and you give me 0tp . I just shared the same wit that otp she re removed 7000 rs 3 times to t5he extent of 21000
    then suddenly i realised and checked my Bank balance and found fraud has been done
    i immediately blocked my debit card Her telephone no is 83770612129

    2 suspicious call i revived this afternoon, as the person calling from Airtel HQ Kolkata to share the OTP that i received in my Airtel number right then. Infact a day before once i tried to recharge my mobile with Airtel Money Payment Wallet, when the money debited from my Bank a/c but in Wallet not showing anything. So i mailed to Airtel customer support & they inform it will be credited within 48 Hours or to be back to my Bank a/c. But before the deadline the suspicious calls came to me. That i never share any OTP/mPIN/CVV code/Card Number/Password etc with anybody, so as usual now also i maintain the policy & so i got saved from being the victim. The Numbers that was called from my number is +918436047098 & +917461009324

    I bought a product from zookr.in . But it was a damaged product so I tried to refund
    my money from zookr.in and next day I received call from these airtel number 9587192155 and he said he was calling from zookr.in telling that he would help you to refund the money and he collected my OTP number and I lost 5000 rs/- I thought I could block his airtel money a/c but I could n’t . I complained to cyber cell…no use yet.
    the funniest thing is I got again call from this same number asking need a refund…really pathetic Airtel team…Why are you allowing such a cheating….from your number……If you feel sorry to me.. with regards .
