Huge loss incurred during transferring of household materials from Vashi to Kolkata

This is regarding the consignment of household goods which were transported by company “ABC Pckers and Movers” from Vashi to Kolkata. The details as follows

Date of loading 15th March
Total number of packages transported from Vashi: 39
Date of receipt in Kolkata: 4th April
Number of packages received in Kolkata: 29 ( In damaged condition)

Inspite of continuous followup and all the false commitment
from transporter’s end, we have not yet received the remainings goods, the cost of which is nearly 50,000. Over and above, we feel that the company is nottaking any responsibility in this matter. Most of the time the phone goes unanswered or a different number is provided and we are asked to call them for the update. This kind of service is extremely condemned and unfortunately we have to reach out to consumer forum. Please find the list of the materials lost during transhipment and the damages incurred in the
received materials:

4000), Full Dinner set of make Steel ( Rs 3500), cooking utemsils ( Rs

Box 2: 26 pairs of shoes Rs 15,000 +

Box 3 : Books and educational items: Rs 5000 +

Box 4: Bathroom kits + cleaning items Rs 1000

Table fan Rs 1500

2 Chairs: Rs 3000

1briefcase with materials Rs 2000

1 double bed Mattress Rs 2000

1 Divan wooden parts ( not received the total dismantled parts): Rs 800

Top and the bottom parts of the display unit with imported screws and light fittings: Rs 4000

Total cost —————–> Rs 49,300

The materials received in damaged and dented conditions are as below ( we have photographs of everything which we can produce to t he concerned aurhority on demand or show them in person)

1. Washing machine: Totally dented and scratched. Needs repairing as it is not working now

2. refrigerator: Dented and colour scratched. Legs broken

3. Cupboard doors: scratched and holed

4. Fitness cycle: parts missing and broken

5. Divan set: Wooden parts scratched and in very bad condition.
