In August 2013 I had asked the customer care to disconnect my broadband services as I would be moving out of the house. They requested that I put the connection in Safe Custody instead of disconnecting it and after a month if I still didn’t need the connection they would disconnect it. Also, the customer care agent who spoke to me mentioned that he would ensure I don’t get charged for safe custody. (Safe custody Order no. : 10780832)
A month later when I was called by the customer care enquiring if I wanted to resume my broad band services, I informed them that I would like to have it disconnected. I also asked them if I needed to send an email regarding the same, I was told by the customer care that I need not and that they will disconnect it.
Till December 2013 I got calls from customer care enquiring the reason of disconnection (in the hope that I would ask for restoration) and when I mentioned that I already have an Airtel connection at my new house they did not prod any longer.
Now suddenly I am getting bills for the connection and the customer care agents have been harassing by calling again and again. They refuse to furnish me information that I asked for and say that I have to pay bills for Feb and March 2014.
