ICIC bank late payment fee

Last month , I delayed my credit card bill payment of ICICI bank by a week as I was travelling. I got a late payment charge consisting of Rs 900 on a credit card bill of 5377. I am surprised that banks are free to charge any amount , based on the customer’s threat of Cybil disqualification due to non payment. Tried reaching their customer care numbers, could not get thru even after 15 min. Goodbye to ICICI bank credit cards.
