I have purchased a battery from Arrow Elektroworld( name of the vendor) with 1 year Warranty.
At the time of purchased
It was agreed for a Original Lapcare brand Battery for my Dell Laptop. But as I arrived to purchase the battery, they had given me a compatible battery at the price of Original battery. I opposed it but they told that it is now opened and we can’t return it. But they assured that if any problem comes then they will undertake the responsibility and also mentioned for 1 year warranty in the Invoice.
But after two days itself there was a problem in a battery and they took almost 20-25 days to replace the battery.
After that I used the battery, again but again it caused problem after 8-9 months of usage as it is not giving backup for more than 15-20 mins.
At the time of negotiations
They told that their supplier is not replacing the battery so I argued that this is not the reason for the same as I was offered warranty from Arrow Elektroworld and not from their supplier, they took almost 40-50 days in this problem and then it was negotiated that they will give me the new branded Dell battery but the 50% cost will be borne by me. I agreed that whatever be the Market Price I will Pay them 50%. After around 15 days they are telling that the market price of the battery is Rs.4000/- but at the same time the original dell battery is at a price of Rs.2200-2300 in the market.
So I request you to please consider my request for the same and help me with the either option
1. With a new Original Dell Battery with 50% contribution from my side: OR
2. An old Compatible Battery in exchange
