Dear Sir,
I “Rakesh Ranjan resident of palam colony – new delhi “ got admission of my son “ Rohit shaurya “ in class XI in section RO1411 in “the asian school, deharadun” as a boarding student on 8th june 2013.
For this I paid Rs one lakh eighty two thousand five hundred( Rs 1,82,500.00). The breakup of this is as below:-
Admission fee: 35,000.00
Security deposit: 25,000.00
School fee for six month : 86,900.00
Impress Deposit: 20,000.00
Infirmery Subscription: 10,000.00
Miscellaneous: 100.00
Registration Fee: 5,500.00
Total Paid= Rs 1,82,500.00
The school opened on 8th July 2013 and i had to send my ward accordingly but due to illness of my wife i could send my ward on 19th July 2013. I purchased all belongings as asked by hostel warden and after settling my son in the hostel left Dehradun for New delhi .
On 21st of july 2013 i got the message from my son that there is big unrest in hostel and in the name of ragging , senior students are disturbing new comers, school admistration also getting failed in controlling the situation. There is hardly any conducive environment for study in the hostel . Getting acknowledged with all this i decided to go the school and meet college administration and observe the situation and therefore i went dehradun on 23rd july 2013 .
I met my son and school administration and decided to withdraw my ward from school. Since my ward could attend the school and hostel only for four days from 19th july 2013 to 22nd july 2013, i asked the school principal to return school leaving certificate however they denied and told us that a transfer certificate will be sent on your address. They also said that only security deposit will be refunded and sent via check to your address.
I returned to delhi on 23rd july 2013 and very recently on 17th aug 2013 i have received transfer certificate of my son however no check against security money has been sent.
Kindly suggest what to do. Is it possible that they will send my money after genuine deductions?
