Sub: Credit Card dues
Dear Sir,
I the undersigned VINAYAK S. DIWADKAR have credit card of “BARCLAYS” Bank Since year of 2007 With Rs. 44000.00 credit limits and I have purchased amount of 35000.00 On credit card within the credit limits and I have convert in “EMI” on year of 2009 by the Telephonic conversation with BARCLAYS representative. He informed the undersigned that I have to repay the said amount in equated monthly installment of Rs. 1470.00 per month for 36 months & I have paid regularly.
Now BARKLAYS bank has been taken over by STANDERD CHARTED bank & they are demanding me exorbitant amount of Rs. 1,42,857.00. Though I have paid “EMI” of Rs. 1470.00 Regularly for 36 months Since year of 2009. The statements provided by them in support of their demand are false & misleading which is unjust for me. Further they have also claiming that I have taken another loan from STANDERD CHARTED which is totally wrong because there was no credit limit left on my credit card account I,e. card was blocked since BARKLAYS was taken over by STANDERD CHARTED bank. Further they have also send a notice from LOK NYAYALAY & asked me to present before the court on 18th august.
I kindly request you to look in to the matter & give me justice as early as possible.
