I have been facing issues with the false statements by your customer service advisors on multiple occasions. I have been constantly following up with your executives for more than 2 months on a billing issue but every time they cook up something and ask me to wait for 24-48 hours and there is absolutely no follow up.
Lately I got a call from Airtel (around Aug 3) to pay up the amount of around Rs 3400 and it was confirmed that I have been given a waiver of Rs 500 (which was earlier committed to be Rs 561). After making the payment I got a message that Rs 500 are due to be paid.
To confirm this I called up Airtel at Aug 7. The person on the other side confirmed that the issue will be resolved in 24-48 hours and that I will get a confirmation call. Again, when I call back on 12th Aug, I was told that there is no such record.
I would like you to go through last 6 audio conversations between me and your customer care and find out the truth yourself.
Every time I have to explain the issue to your representative, they ask me to wait for 24-48 hours and there is no follow up. When I try to call back they say that there is no entry in the log book for a call back. This has happened at least 5 times in last 2 months. You can confirm this if you have the recording of last conversations.
I personally visited your regional office in IT Park, Chandigarh, but found not representative who was available to help. Again, they asked me to speak to customer care who are completely non-trustworthy and have been taking me for a ride for over 2 months.
I am looking for a quick resolution and trust Airtel will live up to the standards of customer support it has enjoyed all these years.
Please look into the matter.
