Name of company/service: Micromax service centre-
I had submitted my Micromax A56 phone for repair of WiFi to the authorised service centre M/s SP-LOGIX ELECTRONIC AND AUTOMATION, Jodhpur. They had said that some WiFi equipment needs to be replaced and that it would take ten days for me to get back my phone. After ten days they said that the equipment has arrived and your phone will be repaired when your turn comes. I kept waiting for more then a week. On my next visit I was conveyed that the equipment that had come was defective and that I had to wait for some more days.
Ever since I have visited the service centre 5-6 times only to find that my hand set is still queued up and only God could say when I would get back my phone duly repaired. It has been a very disappointing experience with the service centre.
To top it when I got back my set it touch had been severely lowered in performance.
I contacted the customer care numbers of M/s Micromax Informatics Limited on its toll free number 18605008286 only to hear that I will have to resubmit my set to these careless people to be able to register a complaint.
The warranty period of my set is due to expire shortly (15/08/2013) and the manner in which the Micromax team is acting they are sure to end up charging me for the equipment/services that they should replace during warranty.
What should I do? Please help
