Hi All,
There’s a departmental store (Duggal Karyana Store) in sector 44-D Chandigarh who’s charging un-necessary amount on milk. If Milk packet of 1/2 kg is worth 17 rupees (as mentioned by company), then due to some price hike it has been raised by another 50 paise making it total to 17.50 INR. The guy behind the counter always charge 19 rupees for it. If someone questions, he would say its been raised by 2 rupees. I used to have regular arguments with him on the same issue a lot many time but still he’s cheating innocent people. The question is not of 50 paise, 1 rupee or 2 rupees. the question is of morality and honesty. The shop says: “Govt. Fair Price Shop”. If such is the scene at fair price shops, what would you expect from other shop owners. This is the just a small example involving basic amenity like MILK. GOD knows how much cheating is being done by him when there are bulk orders.
