hi,
i am an airtel customer from the past 10 years. My airtel Number is 9818620786. on 21june2013, i converted my number from prepaid to postpaid through a local airtel vender.i got a 549 plan which include
549 min airtel time
2 gb 3g data
after 15-16 days after the conversion i got my bill on 8 july 2013 of Rs. 3350/-
imagine a bill of 3k plus in 15 days. anyways i caled the customer care executuve the same day regarding the bill and they told me that right now they havnt recived the bill detail and it will take 2 days to get the detail on their system.
after 2 days i called them again this time they told me that there is system upgradation goin on and they cant see my bill detail, so i shall call them after 2 hours. i called them after 4 hours & got the same excuse of system upgradation.
after 2 days again i called them and again the same problem been told of system updation. then on next day i guess on 11july 2013 i talked to the customer care executive about the issue and then he told me that bill charegs are as follows.
rs 311/- rent for 15 days
Rs 2500/- has been charged for vanity NRC gold charges(this is charge when u buy a new connection.)
150 rs charges for internet usuage ( though my internet usage was 1.2gb total)
108 rs.
and plus taxes
i asked him that i didnt bought a new number and it was a prepaid from the past 10 yrs and i converted it to postpaid. he said he cannot help me in this matter as amout is too big to handle. so he said he will arrange a call from his nodal services which i accepted. after 3 days of wait i didnt get a call from their head office or somethin. i then call customer care again on 14 july 2013 and explained my issue whole again. he said he will connect my call to their senior excutive. i talk to their excetuive and he asked me to mail my issue to [email protected]. I mailed my issue and after 2 days i got a response on mail that my amount of 2500 rs wil adjusted on next bill.(what abt the extra taxes on rs 2500). then again i mailed my querry whose response i am waiting till date. again on 20 july 2013 i called customer care with ref no 51797506. regarding the mail and amout issue he told me that this time he gonna arange a call from the nodal services and i said they never respond. still on 23july 2013 i havent recieved any call and my bill due date is 27july2013. i donot want to get my services get deactivated and its very upsetiing with a loyal cutomer of 10+ years.
my queries are simple
1. i will not pay 2500 rs vanity charges which not applicable in my case.
2. wont pay the taxes addes on 2500 rs
3. why pay internet charges as my 1.2gb 3g data is used out of 2gb 3g internet data
4. i want to port my number to another service provider as u have made my experiebnce so bad with your customer services.
5. the vendor told me every month the security deposit amount of 250 rs will be deducted in instalment.
6. a very very bad exp with airtel.
