I bought a TATA MANZA DIESEL variant on 26th February 2012 from ABS motors, sector-29, gurgaon and was getting it serviced regularly from their service center i.e ABS Motors , Sector 34 , Gurgaon. I trusted their service representative regarding proper service & maintenance of my very first car & never questioned about their excessive charges as i thought it was necessary for the longevity of my car. But after my last service, the difference in estimate and final billing was more than Rs 10000/- which made me a little upset and i gave ZERO rating on the feedback call by TATA motors.Also, on the next day of service, i found that there is some problem in the brakes. Then a representative of TATA motors called me and asked about the issue, i explained to him that i am not satisfied with their service even after paying so much for service charges. Then he asked me about my billing amount which was in excess of Rs 14000/- but when he cross-checked with his system it was around Rs 8200/-, at that moment my trust bubble burst out. Everything became clear why i was getting charged too much, why the engine sound of my car is so deafening(earlier i thought it was normal for a TATA diesel variant although opposed by my friends). I could not trust my car anymore due to faulty service since the beginning. Since then, the ABS guys are trying to bribe me down with several offers like reimbursement of excess charges and even the service representative (Rahul) was ready to bribe me in excess of Rs. 100000/-, i don’t know whether its his offer or his entire management is funding him for this heinous act. Today, i met with TATA motors’ Area Service Manager (NCR) and we had a discussion about the whole case as TATA guys tested our patience by making 5 of us wait for more than an hour. I don’t know whether TATA is involved in this but i don’t seem to agree with their approach towards my issue and their lack of professionalism. At the end, they told us that they will talk to higher management and will get back to us ASAP (dunno whether they practice this). I always believe in the saying ‘Be Indian buy Indian’ but after this, I am in a turmoil whether to trust these guys or not. I am not driving my car from now on, kindly suggest me all the possible course of action.
