I am an NRI who came from Canada on 30th october 2012. In the mid of march I installed a new internet connection through Reliance Broadbrand.I paid rs 1599 for the installation and rs 700 advance for the month. After 5 or 6 days I called the agent (Amanbir Singh) to uninstall the internet connection and cancel my subscription as I didnt like their services.Now after 3 months I am getting calls from reliance broadband employees to pay for their used services. I told them to send me a copy of their bill as I wanted to see what services I have used. The employee forced me to go to the reliance outlet and pay my bill. I told the employee “I am not paying anything unless I see the bill”. Secondly, he said you have been using this service for an year and If I dont pay the Company will drag me to the court.Heated words were exchanged and the employee threatened me to pay for something that I didnt use.This is sheer harassment.On 16th July 2013 I recieved a call from a Lawyer from Tiz hazari court bearing no 9654980571. The lawyer was demanding the same payment and was also making irrelevant accusations. She was also abusive and ill mannered.
My mother is not well and they are unnecessarily giving me mental tensions.
I request you to take strict actions against reliance and its lawyers and their employees.
