New Split 1.5 ton AC giving problems

Location/place: Indirapuram

Name of company/service: Voltas

New split AC of 1.5 tom bought in Oct 2012 showing continuous problem in the first season (MArch 13 onwards) only. Numerous customer care complaints and visit by service franchisee not helping the cause. the problem is as under
(1) disturbing sounds coming out of the AC particularly in Night causing serious sleep problem particularly for 1 month old baby.
(2) dropping of ice chunks/water from split panes of the AC.
