If anyone is interested in taking an Airtel broadband – please note that you will have a very difficult time closing it in case you ever need to. They will continue to harass you to extract token amounts of money they can.
I used to use airtel broadband for almost 2 years and the reliability and customer service was excellent. I was very happy with the connection.
On 29th December, 2012, my connection stopped working, and I called the customer service. They sent a person and he said that the internal wiring of the building needed to be fixed by me. I decided to disconnect my connection as I couldn’t change the wiring.
I made a disconnection request, but it didn’t get through. I failed to follow up with that, and they started sending me bills every month for something I’ve clearly asked to disconnect and I haven’t used an iota of!! They started calling me 4-5 five times daily (yes daily!). They kept sending me bills of airtel internet every month! Who do you think will be stupid enough to pay for something they haven’t used?! Will you?!!
When you need a new connection, they immediately come and ensure it is done, but the disconnection formalities are like a maze impossible to get through during which there is continuous harassment I am tired of. Please stop calling me, please stop threatening baseless legal action and please look at the overall image of your company which is getting spoilt only because of this.
If you harass me further, I will stop at no lengths to make sure that my issues are adequately compensated against.
