Hello everyone, My Airtel contact number 9971879995, today i myself cheated for the mentioned number by the airtel post-paid. In the previous month i got the message for free data of 300 MB for 1 month on June 02, 2013; i confirmed it many times from customer care whether it is free or not and every time i got the reply it’s free so i utilized my free data. Now when i got the bill for the month June 5-July 4 2013, it included the amount of data i used. When i contacted the customer care supervisor, he replied me that my data was activated on June 02, 2013 and it comes under the bill cycle of 17 May-June 4, 2013, so the data used on or after 5 June 2013 will be charged. i am not getting their explanation, why should i be charged when i got the message on June 2, 2013, and confirmation call from my side to customer regarding the free data, and got the reply that it’s free for 1 month, so you can use it, so i used it for the next 10 days, during that time period (usage) i called customer care several times to confirm, will i charged for data or not? Because on my daily message alert bill information the amount of bill was increasing rapidly and i was worried about being charged in future, that’s why i called every time after using the data. But every time i got the reply from customer care it’s free no need to call again.
Now tell me why customer should pay for free data? I am not getting why airtel is cheating their customer in postpaid plans. Is it the way to survive in the market; only a second can change the game, because there are some good players also like Vodafone, mtnl and Idea. Please stop cheating the customer, now Trai has also opened the gate where you can compliant if not satisfied by the service provider so guys start complaining to Trai so that strict actions can be taken against such kind of cheats.
