Fooled By Airtel

I received a call from Airtel Sales rep. Chander. He told me that my Rs. 99 2G data plan will go off the market from 5th July. He then suggested me to go for Super saver 3g plan for Rs. 399. I expressed my reluctance as I was happy with my 2G plan. He then said I can economically use my 1 GB data with the Rs 399 plan as I will have a button on my phone wherein I can toggle between 2g and 3g depending upon my use. My foolishness was to agree.
On 8th July I called airtel. My call was taken by Kalpana, who fumbled so I asked her to give the phone to her TL. Praveena took the call and assured me that the toggle button will be activated once I get the plan activated on my phone, which would happen on 12 midnight of 8th July.
Today, 9th July when I called airtel to activate my 3g-2g toggle button, Md Irfan picked the call and said this is not possible. I then requested him to give my call to his TL. Initially, he said that TL s are busy and will call me back in 4 hrs. I was obstinate and asked him to transfer the call, which finally happened. My call was transferred to the worst CCR, Surender (Please hear how he spoke, my call with him started around 2:01 pm,on 9 July 13). He out right denied the possibility of the toggle.
Here, I am partially literate person, made fool by Airtel.
I am highly disappointed with the CCRs and Airtel.
