I am using a Airtel broadband connection (Airtel landline number – 0120-4575331, Airtel Account number : 7006137351).I have a issue regarding the bill of june-2013 i.e 26/5/13-25/6/13 . The bill number is 118116436 . The bill includes the purchase of 25gb smart bytes of Rs799 . But I would like to inform you that i have not purchased any of the airtel smart bytes . So i called up airtel customer care and they told me that purchased is done on 21/6/13 at 1:00PM .

I would like to inform you that that your Airtel customer care engineer , Mr.SUKVIR SINGH came to my house on 21 june at about 12:45 pm to solve the complaint raised by me on 20 june regarding “Frequent disconnection of internet” (Complaint number was 34443600) . Then he replaced the modem and he opened my laptop for configuring the modem at around 12:55pm and he opened the smart byte website also (Crosschecked from internet browser history) and Mr.sukvir singh purchased the 25gb smartbytes .

So i called Mr. Sukvir singh at my home on 9-july for confirming that he has purchased smart bytes. So he accepted that he opened the smartbytes website at 1:00 pm and by mistake he might have purchased the smartbytes .So i asked him to pay Rs 900 to me so he refused to pay me and asked me to call costumer care and said airtel will pay me 900rs not him..

Then i dialed the customer care toll free number i.e 198 and explained the whole issue , then customer care executive talked Mr sukvir singh and ask him to pay Rs900 for his fault , but Mr Sukvir refused to pay the amount .
So customer care executive has raised the complaint about this issue (Complaint id -35332272 ) and they said they ill look into the matter

I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND I WONT PAY RS.900 TO AIRTEL AS I HAVE NOT DONE ANY PURCHASE , THIS IS A MISTAKE DONE BY MY SUKVIR SINGH SO EITHER HE HAS TO PAY ME OR AIRTEL HAS TO PAY THIS RS.900 .AND MR SUKVIR SINGH HAS ASKED ME TO BLAME AIRTEL FOR THIS.

I EXPECT FULL COOPERATION FROM AIRTEL.

    I also facing same Problem of Airtel SmartBytes.

    My Complaint is regarding- Activation of “SmartBytes-Pack” of Rs.499/-
    without my consent, and when I complained to Customer care on this, they are not ready to verify & deactivate. Reference no. for this is 36255750.
    (I have all the details that, I have not activated this Smartbytes-Pack of Rs.499, but still Airtel-customer-care is not ready to verify & take proper action)

    I have called customer care & also sent a mail with Screen shot but still they are not taking complaint.

    This is the second time Iam facing this problem. At First time when the same problem happened, Airtel-Broadband-Services reduced around 60% of SmartBytes-pack coast but still I had paid remaining. Yesterday again this same problem again on 27th july 2013 at 10:41PM.
