Dear Forum,
I have logged a complaint to airtel dth on email id : [email protected] for “SIGNAL LOSS” error message shown on TV screen for which i didn’t receive any call or mail. Further i had relocated to new place for which again i dropped a mail on 04/07/2013 on the same mail id for shifting of DTH connection to my new house but didn’t get any response. on 5th of july i called up airtel customer care number and i was assured for the same, subsequently the engineer called me up but told me that in my area there is issue of cable tv operators and asked for the connection on sunday i.e. 07/07/2013 and he said he will call me up. Today i called him up first and said i will call back and come to the place. Around 6.00 pm in the evening i again called up the engineer and asked the reason but he didn’t come he again said will call me back but didn’t call me. The same time i called up customer care number the response i got from CC was shocking, first he was giving me the number of engineer then i asked that engineer is not responding satisfactorily and C.C should talk to their engineer but C.C replied their responsibility is only to forward call. Finally i didn’t get satisfactory solution. My complaint is i want re-installation at my new place at the earliest and if airtel is not able to provide such service to certain areas they should stop selling their connections also. If their issue is with Cable operators i can show atleast 5-10 connections of DTH in each building in the same area. Kindly look into the matter and improve the Customer support service. In the past also i had same problem when tried to buy DTH from airtel.
Kindly look into the matter urgently.
