I purchased a dell xps M1730 laptop three and a half year back worth Rs99000, now it is completly dead. The technical support team from dell told that the issue is with the motherboard and they need to replace it.
I was charged 11000 for the replacement of mother board and i was promised that i would get the service within 3 working days. I made the payment on june 6th and till date i have not received service. Initially when i called them they promised that my problems would be fixed in 3-4 days and they will be in touch with me. The customer care people transferred my calls from one department to other. I never received a call back from dell. Now they are tellin me that they dont have the parts available and they want me to manufacture the part and get it repaired by some local shops Reaching dell customer care is also a big task for me as they require almost an hour or two speaking to different departments and their customer support is available from monday to friday and i also work in a company so i am not able to run behind them.
