Dear Sir,
we have booked 6 tickets from Eluru to Mumbai CST as on 08-3-2013
to travel by train on 21st of May 2013 through IRCTC , only one ticket was confirmed, rest of the 5 tickets were in waiting list with pnr status:6518034210 and we have cancelled the same by 1:00 AM on the same day and we did not travel because other 5 tickets were still in waiting list. We have not received any refund back for any of those cancelled tickets by railways.
Request you to help us in getting the refund back as we have not travelled on the above PNR(6518034210) but as per TDR department, they acknowledged us saying that ‘PASSENGER HAS TRAVELLED ON THOSE TICKETS’.
We have filled the TDR process to railway and got reply from them is as mentioned below:
Dear customer,
We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
Kindly note that your case has been regretted by Railways *_after verification of charts_*,
if you have any proof *(like presence in office, medical certificate or PNR No. of other ticket in case of alternate travelling etc.)* of not travelling then *please* specify so that we can again forward your case to the concerned Railways to chase your refund.
I have called to railway enquiry team, they told me ticket is partially confirmed and they dont know why TDR process team didnt refund the money.
We did not travel on 21 may 2013 and same day we have travelled through by bus and also submitted proof to TDR process team also.
Still my money didn’t refund from railways.
Kindly help us in getting the refund back.
Regards,
IMRAN.
