Vodafone care misguides the consumer

Location/place: Navi Mumbai

Name of company/service: Vodafone

I have been heavily charged by Vodafone for their miscommunication and misleading. I was going to be out of town for while and so for time being wanted to deactivate my Internet. In that case I called up Vodafone care and they disconnected my internet services for 2 days but I realized that the customer care executive did not inform me that in between the Internet will be active and I will be charged for it not according to the plan I had taken. Now they have send me a huge amount in the bill. That was the mistake on their side. WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE.
Plus I received my bill at my billing address very late (on 3/7/13) which I should have received atleast by 25th. Should I file a complain in the consumer court? What if I don’t pay the bill?
