DishTV Antenna on the terrace stolen

Name of company/service: DishTV

Dear All,

My dish tv antenna was stolen yesterday from the terrace in Chennai.But setup box is still there with me.I had the following questions.

1.Should I file an police complaint? can anybody use this for any unauthorized activity?

2.I dont have any number of the dish tv antenna with me.so how to identify it?

Please help.
