I had taken a data card from Idea, at the time of taking connection it was said to me in my area they have 3G services for that they charged me 2250 as 3 months advance rental (2500+50 for using credit card)
Connection was activated on 3rd of may, since it was activated it was a horrible experience, since there was no network coverage and the speed was so pathetic It used to take 5 to 6 hours even for opening gmail.
I contacted to customer care as well the idea care from where I had taken this connection. A guy also came from there to my place and discovered it is not possible to use datacard from my home.
I contacted to customer care to resolve the issue, These guys told me, drop a mail to ideacellular mentioning your challenges and asking for refund and to terminate data card connection. You will get your amount by check within 45 days.
Since it was a addon connection with my postpaid mobile number – 9890004080 so I asked them to transfer the amount to my idea number 9890004080 so what would be forthcoming bill that could be adjusted.
In between this instead of disconnecting data card number they stopped my services for my regular number 9890004080, Again I sent them mail, telling them they have terminated wrong number and also I asked what happened to my money, what they are going to do with it. I got a mail from them which is as
“Dear Customer,
Greetings for the day!
This is with reference to your e-mail regarding service restoration and disconnection of your Idea mobile numbers 9890004080 and 9822318594 respectively.
We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to you due to disconnection of number 9890004080.
We would like to assure you that you are an extremely important customer for us and we value your association with us.
We wish to inform you that the services for your number 9890004080 have been restored with effect from 9th June 2013.
Further we wish to inform you that, we have registered your request for disconnection of number 9822318594 and you will receive a call from our Customer Relations team confirming the same within 7 days.
We would like to inform you that the advance rental of Rs. 2500/- has been credited to your Idea account and same will be adjusted in forthcoming invoice for the number 9890004080.
We greatly value your patronage and look forward to an opportunity to serve you better.
Kindly note the docket number 166810753 for your reference.

On June 19 I got bill asking me to pay 750/-
I again dropped them mail and asked, since you guys had assured me this(2500/-)has been credited to my account so according to that you guys have already advance amount, why should I pay you?
I asked for clarification again and again but absolutely there was no response at all.
Now it was 30th of June last due date of making payment, again I dropped the mail as well called several times to resolve the issues, I mentioned them if you won’t rectify the issue, I won’t pay any more, you guys have my money, Lastly around 8 PM I got a reply that already the amount has been adjusted and see how shamelessly they sent me Mail & invoice:
“Dear Customer,
Greetings for the day!
Further to your below e-mail, we request you to refer your invoice number 135947489 dated 15th June 2013.
We would like to inform you that as per the payment details reflecting on page number 4 the amount of Rs. 2541/- has already been adjusted to your Idea account.
We request you to kindly furnish the outstanding amount of Rs. 737/- due for your account, as on date for continuing uninterrupted service.
Please find the attached invoice for the period of 16th May to 14th June 2013.

Here They Charged me as :
At one place they deducted 2541.08 to show they have done bless on me!
At the very next moment they charged me 2250/- as one time charge for data card.
1. As per records of mail I have communicated with them I hand over their device to them
2. They had assured me to back my account
3. They failed me to provide service for what they have right to charge me 2250 even after assuring me I am going to get my money back
4. Due to them what ever I and my business has suffered who will take responsibility
5. For what I should pay them 3 months rental?
Finally today one guy from idea called me saying that we won’t back your money, you have to pay for that
Isn’t it unethical and stupid behavior? If some one fails to provide services how they can ask customers to pay for it
