I purchased XOLO Q1000 android phone on 17th June. By the time I reached home, I realised that its speaker phone is cracking and due to which is not producing quality sound. I raised complaint on 18th, next morning they said that I have to give it to the collection centres located across Delhi. Firstly, I asked, Dealer informed that pickup will be from home, then they said their agreement with the vendor has expired. I approached the dealer, who talked with someone in Xolo and took my handset back, in less than 24 hours. Then I had to wait for 2 days, before he finally confirmed that your handset is getting replaced and I got new handset on 20th. My bad luck, I relied on the dealer, since it was sealed pack, i did not checked it, reached home and when checked, even this handset was having the same trouble of cracking speaker phone.
With the restriction of time, as I was out of station for a week, I again filed the complaint on 28th at Xolo Care, after returning back. This time, again they asked me to submit the set at the pickup point. Seeing no option, i reached all the way to mayur vihar, from ghaziabad on the same day. To all’s surprise he informed that their internet is not working and they are not in a position to take any action. On 29th I again visited the same place, got the same answer, internet is not working. 30th was sunday. Today again, when i went there, internet was working, he tracked my complaint and asked me to submit the handset which will go to their service centre and approximately return in 5 working days. Anyone’s patience will be over after all this, so was mine.
The concerned informed there if I had approached there within 7 days of purchase, new replacement would have been given, but now you will have to hand it over and wait for the repair. I also spoke to their service head Delhi, who asked me to come to Janakpuri to get it repaired. From Ghaziabad to Mayur Vihar, then to Janakpuri, I simply refused to take so much pain.
By this time, The Dealer, their service head all diverted from their motto of customer satisfaction. They left the choice to me, either to give it to service centre, wait for some days, move to janakpuri, leave it for a day, and again go to pick up, or live with set at its existing condition.
I will not leave it like this, and will fight it till the end.
