Hi,
I have purchased the holiday vouchers from Platinum circle on 2 Jan 2013, which was routed to Mega Deals for booking.
I am highly unsatisfied with services provided by Mega Deals.
Summary of Issue
When I contacted Mega deals for tour package, i was told that i need to fill the form and mail it to them, they can not provide any information on phone. Along with i checked, if money can be transferred online but Mega Deal insisted on DD only.
Filled form with DD was couriered to Mega Deals on 25 May and when inquired on 30 May, i got a response that they will inform us. I told them upfront that i am flexible for dates and location also but no information was provided to me.
I tried checking again on 4 June but got the same answer.
I got a courier on 7 June (dated 5 June from Mega Deals) stating that my request has been turned down as it doesn’t fall within time period of 30-45 days.
When i contacted Mega Deals about this, i got a blunt answer that you have taken a package from Platinum Circle, you can contact them.
Same issue was discussed with Platinum circle executive on 11 June, which they advised to book atleast 30 days in advance.
I sent the request on 12 June again modifying.
Along with request, i have shared my telephone number for discussion, in case of non-availability of accommodation for requested date/location. I mentioned very clearly that i am flexible for date/location.
But unfortunately, this time after sending request for 19-20 July, which was more than 30 days of lead time, i didn’t get the booking.
Now, Mega deal is giving excuse of non-availability of rooms.
Not sure, which language to explain them, picking up phone and speaking to me for location or date flexibility could have avoided this issue. I have mentioned very clearly to speak to me for any such issue. But looks like, my all these effort goes waste.
Assurance provided by Platinum Circle last time, holds no value.
