had placed an online order with rediff shopping on 13th May and the payment (Rs.3148) was done on line through credit card. On the same day I had received an SMS as well as an e-mail confirmation on dispatch of the consingnment through Velocity Express courier service. The confirmed order no. was 8022563 and the courier AWB no. was 90000496426. I have not received the material till date. In the interim I have contacted Rediff Shopping innumerable times through their call centre and every time I was told that I will receive the material within 2-3 working days. I was also in touch with the courier office at Kolkata and was told that they had not received the consignment. For last 15 days I have not been able to speak to Rediff Shopping as everytime I call recorded voice says that all of their call centre executives are busy and it remains so fo as long as half an hour and after that I disconnect. I got in touch with the Velocity Expree H.O. and was told that this consignment was lost in transit and this has been informed to Rediff Shopping. In the interim I have received 2-3 calls from Rediff Shopping wherein the caller enquires whether I have received the consignment, says sorry once I reply in negative and again tell that I will get it in 1-2 working days. I have also mailed 3-4 times to the Rediff Shopping customer care for cancellation of the order and refund of the money aginst which the only reply I get is auto generated one and without any resolution. Hereby I claim Rs. 10000.00 from Rediff Shopping for the amount I paid + all communication expenses incurred in following up + the necessary interest of my money. I am in posession of all the documents pertaining to this issue viz. SMS, e-mail etc
