I took a prepaid tikona broad band connection on february 2012. Due to vary bad service, on april i asked them to close the connection (customer care). but the did not close the connection. in between i moved the house. on September 2012 they send a bill of amount 2600/-. when i refused to pay, the demanded extra 1500/- – modem charge (total: 2600/- + 1500/-) for closing amount. another point is, they did not proved me a mode, i shared already existing modem (land lord). My calculation is, if i have a prepaid connection – Rs. 1400/- (not exactly) as advance of two month, and within two month i asked to close the connection how my bill became 2600/- ? now it increase to 3000/- + 1500/-(modem charge), and adv. pratap singh called me today (23/06/2012) and shouted the money within 1hr. and if i dont pay he will fire a case against me on Delhi civil court!! one important point is many time the called me and asked for the bill – i asked a detailed bill about how my bill became 2600/- but they did not respond – and blindly demanded the bill. each time i refused to pay. Please guide me what can i do now?
