Got a court summon for a unpaid bill

Location/place: India

Name of company/service: Tata Dokomo Dial up internet connection

Hello,
About a year ago after paying my last bill I had informed the agent that collected the money I needed to stop the connection. 6 months later I get a bill for about 2800. I have made several attempts to communicate my issue also showed them that the data usage for the billed months is 0 i.e. I have not used the connection at all. But did not hear anything positive. Now I have been asked to be present in court for this matter.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

    If you have the bill payment proof, file a case against Tata Docomo for cheating and harassment and lousy service and make them pay damages by way of compensation for their behaviour.
