SBI charging my credit card for transactions not done. Submitted all the proofs but still say I have to pay.

I never used my credit card bearing number 5101286924949219 for a long time, one day by mistake my card got swapped with my brothers and he tried to swipe it a store. There was a error and the payment didn’t go through.He then realised his mistake that it was not his card and immediately called me to cancel my card.I mailed the SBI and called them to cancel the same. My brother paid the store owner the bill amount in cash.My nightmares started with the credit statements charging me the amount+fine for purchases.I approached the owner of the shop, he provided his monthly statement of transactions on request which clearly indicates that no amount was drawn on my card.I submiited the same to the SBI representative.But each month a new representative apprached instead of clearing the amount on my card,they started demanding money. This went on for over a year, each month they have been charging me dues, one of the representatives terrified my family members with his dialogues and insulted us calling cheaters and to face dire consequences and even got away with Rs.1000 in cash.I have been sending them proofs and also speaking to their representatives.The poor shop owner provided us his last 8 months statements which clearly shows they were no charges on my card.On the other hand SBI credit is harassing us with statements and fine.Please help.
