Dear Concerned,

I the undersigned have pre – booked (Booking Id – PMC6092) and made payment towards purchase of Aakash Tablet (Ubislate 7+) in Jan – 2012, for Rs. 2999/- vide DD No – 1501. However, the subject Tablet was not delivered till Aug – 2012.

On constant and rigorous follow up with Datawind, I have received communication pertaining to Upgradation of Tablet to 7C and have been advised to make additional payment of Rs. 1300/- towards the same.

On receipt of the same, I have made payment of Rs. 1300/- on 04-09-2012 vide DD No – 1592 accordingly.

However, I regret to inform that there was inordinate delay of 3 more months and finally the Tablet was delivered on 25-12-2012.

After a long wait, I was shocked to know that the screen of the Tablet (Ubilsate 7Ci) was broken at the time of delivery and Tablet was not functional. The same was immediately intimated to Datawind accordingly thru mail. Inspite of repeated communications and rigorous follow up, Datawind has suggested me to hand over the same at service centre located at HUBLI (scanned copy of delivery receipt) is attached for kind reference. The same was handed over to the service centre on 23-Mar-2013 and the same was.

On receipt of the Device, Datawind has advised me to pay Rs. 1500/- towards repair charges. I have clearly refused to pay the said charges and have requested them to refund Rs. 4299/- immediately towards the same.

However, it is shocking to inform that inspite of continuous mails and rigorous followup with Datawind, there is no response towards the same.

On account of the same, I request your good selves to kindly provide justice towards the same and arrange for refund of the same at the earliest.
