Hi Consumer Forum,
Greetings!!
My name is Dattatreya Gupta Pynda, recently applied for a new Airtel Broadband & telephone connection at Bangalore. I’ve been told that within 4 days the connection will be given and accordingly collected all necessary Docs along with a Cheque. When I enquired at Airtel customer care today they are bluntly saying Port not available.
This is totally unacceptable and I would like to ask for compensation from Airtel in case they are unable to provide a committed connection within 2 days. Because of their mis commitment I don’t have any connection and unnecessarily I shared all my personal Doc’s along with a Cheque and also rejected the other ISP who offered me the internet connection later.
Here with I am providing all the information which was communicated to me through SMS on my Mobile by Airtel.

Waited for mentioned 4 days and now customer care executive is saying that port not available.
If port is not available how can they take the personal Docs and cheque, Why didn’t they informed till now officially through SMS.
Please help me to have the justice for this case.
Thanks & Best Regards
