Dear Sir,
I used to own a Tata Docomo broadband connection while I was in Pune. Before relocating from Pune by end of February 2013, I had made a call to customer care to ask them to close my account. I was told that the account will be closed, but the company executives will take 3 MONTHS to come and collect the router and disconnect the cable. I could not postpone my relocation by 3 months for them to do so. However, before leaving Pune, I had made another call to customer care and I was informed that the account has been deactivated. After making the payment for the previous month’s usage, with the knowledge that the account is deactivated, I left Pune.
However, I have now received a mail from Shashikant Pawar of Tata Teleservices that I need to make payment of INR 413 or face legal action. I dont know how the bill was generated after account was deactivated.
I have since sent 3-4 mails to Shashikant Pawar to resolve the matter, and offered to make the payment, provided the Bachelor deposit of INR 500 is returned to me and account is finally closed. But I have not received any response. I have also called Mr. Ram Kate (contact person mentioned in the mail from Shashikant Pawar), and he has been making false promises of reverting in 1day/5mins/tomorrow/11:00 am etc.
I am absolutely fed up with Tata Docomo, and their customer care number is not reachable (always engaged).
I request unbiased support from Docomo to resolve this matter, or I will consider legal action against TTML for harrasing me.
Regards
SMT
