Amount not dispensed from ATM but debited from my account

Location/place: Om Tower, Near Star Bazar, Ahmedabad

Name of company/service: Allahabad Bank

Dear Sir/Madam,

I , Virendra Jethwa, having salary account in Allahabad Bank and my A/C NO: 50103213375

On 10/5/2013 I had used SBI ATM at Om Tower (near Star Bazar, Ahmedabad) to withdraw money. I had insert my Card in ATM then enter pin but due to some problem machine didn’t respond and it was hanged and stay on enter pin screen and after that it gave me error “Transaction Time Out”.

I had wait over there for few minutes but didn’t get any response from ATM and there was no any security guard over there so I had left that ATM. After 10 min I got SMS in my mobile that your account is debited by 10000/- . I didn’t withdrawal any money from that ATM then also my account is debited by 10000/- .

I had also registered complain in Allahabad bank for same but they gave me transaction receipt of that ATM and told me that it was valid transaction. Not get proper response from them. And they told me to goto SBI bank for the same.

So, I had visited SBI brach of that ATM but they told me that we cant do anything. And didn’t get any proper response from them also.

Sir i didn’t got my money which was debited from my account.
Please help me in this issue.

    Dear Respected Sir,
    I’m SUDIP PODDER, An old customer in your branch and I opened a savings account in 2007. I have a good relationship with you and all members of this branch by the help of many transactions during these years. On 5th September, 2014 I went to the ATM (Allahabad) at Mukundapur in the evening to withdrawal Rs, 4,000/- (Four Thousand). Though I didn’t get any an amount from that ATM machine at that moment but Rs, 4,000/- (Four Thousand) has been debited from my Savings Account. I knew the status of that transaction by SMS alert and counter slip.
    After facing this particular problem, the ATM Security guard had come from outside of the ATM and told me that “This ATM Machine was not working correctly” and he suggested me to contact the Branch. At the moment I explained the incident to the Allahabad Bank through my mobile. And thus the way I left the ATM counter without any an amount and I didn’t get that debited amount after spent the 72 hours and till now.
    Sir once again I’m requesting to you that if you look into this matter as soon as possible and credit that amount in my account (A/c No.- 20093832522) then it’ll be grateful to you.
