I purchased a Hitachi Air Conditioner Chasis no. – RAV518HTD on May 13, 2013 from Vijay Sales, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Order no. 42-UIP05-13SOT 47
Just after 3 days, we found the cooling to be low and we registered a complaint: 13051703631 dated: May 17, 2013. Technician paid a visit to give away a ridiculous reason that its a new AC and will take a week to provide proper cooling and mentioned that there is no problem with the AC.
Just after 3 more days on May 24, 2013, cooling stopped completely and I registered another complaint: 13052404229, same technician made another visit and said that cooling gas has leaked and needs to be refilled. Without any action, the complaint request was closed.
Today I again called the customer care to get yet another complaint number: 13052602082. I went to Vijay sales and they gave me another complaint number: 1305-B260122 and said that only Hitachi can provide a solution and Vijay Sales can’t do anything about it.
As a consumer, I am feeling cheated by Hitachi by giving me a faulty product.
Its very disappointing that just in 3 days, a brand new Hitachi AC has stopped functioning.
Since brand new AC has started giving a problem, it clearly indicates some manufacturing defect or improper quality checks. Hence, I hereby request an immediate replacement of our AC without any further delays. Or refund my hard earned money, I will buy some other AC.
