Name of company/service: PANTEL TECHNOLOGIES
1. I have purchased a Pantel IS 801C Tablet from Flipcart on 28 March 13 and a Pantel Keyboard with speakers from Infibeam on 28 March 13.
2. A black cable used for connecting the keyboard and tablet was found to be faulty within a day of use. A complaint was lodged with AUTH service centre. After waiting for over a week it was told that I have to approach the second Service centre. The service centre was unable to resolve the problem and told me to log a complaint online. was lodged.
3. I logged on a formal complaint in mid April, which was registered as Complaint No PENTSER0041578. I was told that the cable was not under warranty. On mentioning the background specifics I was told that I need to send the cable for getting it changed. I forwarded the cable by speed post on 22 April 13 and an intimation by email.
4. I was told that the cable had been received and the replacement is being forwarded on next working day. This was in last week of April. Since then I have been told on three more occasions that the cable will be forwarded tomorrow or within two days. The same sham of a story was repeated today which prompted me to take this beyond requesting.
5. I am sure you will appreciate that I am NOT looking to save a few Rupees. My primary reason for asking you for a cable was first as a genuine replacement from the OEM for a costly investment. Anyone could have easily bought a cable for Rs 50 or Rs 200, than spend on speed post and long phone calls (each of about 15 to 20 mins). My second reason was of course for a deficient service.
6. Needless to say the response has been disappointing and unprofessional in resolving a minor issue. I have been unable to use the keyboard etc since the last two months, can PANTEL make up for that and for the disappointment in dealing with your company.
