PATHETIC After Sales Service provided by Samsung

Name of company/service: Samsung Mobiles

I have purchased a Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos GT – S6802CWAINU with IMEI Number 352618054135408 from Samsung Cafe – Faridabad on September 16, 2012.

I am facing following problems in the handset and details can be traced in trail mail also.

1. The Handset gets switched off automatically and because of this I have missed many important calls.
2. The handset gets hanged very frequently.
3. The screen sometimes turns into a blue coloured blank screen.
4. The Home Screen is not supposed to rotate but sometimes it also rotates 90 degrees to the right.
5. The battery is replaced and the new battery takes 3 and half hours for a complete charge, every alternate day

I have sent by Handset thrice to service centre in the past i.e. on February 25, 2013, on March 18, 2013 and on March 28, 2013. One of the Job Card No. 4149038908 but the problems still persist. After the third visit to service centre the phone again switched off automatically and in the past 1 week the phone has also hanged a couple of times.

On March 18, 2013 when the Handset was sent to the Service Centre for the above mentioned problems, they blatantly claimed that the Handset is FINE & did not even checked the Handset but changed the BATTERY. What is the relation of above problems and the BATTERY??

I am very irritated because of the above mentioned glitches in the handset & Samsung is not able rectify the same and I cannot visit Service Centre again n again and the problems should have been resolved in 3 visits.

When I intimated Samsung about the repetitive problems, they are again asking me to submit the handset to the service centre for the forth time also.

Whenever I get in touch with Samsung, a different person interacts with me and no one cares to give a proper response / call-back. The only answer given to me is to visit the service centre again.

Then I contacted Samsung stating – “Incase you are so keen on repairing this handset and want me to send this handset for repairs for the fourth time then you have accept my conditions.

1. The handset will be given to me in the same physical condition with no scratches.

2. The problems faced by me in the handset will be rectified completely. If the problems reoccur, you will refund the amount paid by me for this handset and I will not accept replacement, after such kind of pathetic customer service experience.

3. The time for which you the handset will be at your service centre will be informed to me.

If the above is acceptable to Samsung in total, then let me know in writing. Also, please note – there is no communication from Samsung after 7.4.2013 except emails”

What can expect from Samsung when they cannot commit on their own Product and Service Centre, as they are accepting my simple terms and conditions.

What will happen to the lousy phones which people are buying on EMI and at 15%. The same experience which I am facing after buying Samsung instead of Nokia.
