I have filed IT Return for the assessment year 2007-08 at Range-3, Income Tax Office, Guwahati, Assam. For years I did not received any respond, so filed RTI application seeking information about the same. The first reply I received as a copy of letter forwarded to Range-2 by range-3 saying the information about the same is lying with Range-2, so they (Range-3) is forwarding the RTI application to range-2. The last reply I received was also a forwarded letter, dated 19th March, 2013 to Range-3 saying as the return was submitted in Range-3, the information lies with them (Range-3) only so Range-2 again returned the application back to Range-3. After this for last one month I did not receive any reply. Plz suggest me what to do now.
