Name of company/service: Airtel- DTH
De installation request made on 30/ 3 /13 over phone for 31/3/13 & re-install on same day due to relocation . On 31/3/13 entire day followed up to Airtel team ( time given 11. 30pm, Cost de installation INR 125 & re-install INR 250 ) & got deferent commitment but not been obeyed as we have to re-locate , so spoke to Airtel team & they agreed to de-install and carry the device but not turned up the next day too & their engineer called & disagree to carry the device, We called back to the customer care they disagree to the last commitment . We had to de-installed the device at our end . like this 8 days passed by & our account got suspended ( on 6/ 4/13) due to Airtel negligence. Today 16 days gone & they are not bothered to get the issue resolved rather saying if we pay suspension charge , installation fee & cable cost ( we could not take out as they have not come for de-installation ). As a formality they write back to us each alternate day & claims our phone was switched off although same is true.
We are not ready to pay any of extra money except the installation charges as my account got suspended due to their mistake .
1) Airtel have sold the product not bother to give service
2) No coordination between customer care team & engineer
3) Airtel do not value others time & money .
4) No clarity on their own policy
5) We are mentally harassed explaining the incident to each and every customer care employee .
6) If this is the service level we clamed back the cost the product & not interested to continue with Airtel as same will be appending in future .
