Name of company/service: Airtel digital tv
I purchased an airtel digital tv on April 21, 2013 in my name (Vikrant Sharma – 9538812745, 9008521199(brother’s number- alternate contact)) for Rs. 2290. My id is 3012195770.
At the time of purchase, I was promised the following:
1) I will get a 250 cash back in my airtel digital tv account for future recharges.
2) I will get free naaptol and ebay coupons.
It’s already been over 15 days today, still there is no credit made in my account.
I contacted the customer care at 08044448080 to register a complain for the same on Apr1, 2013. The agent told me that a complain has been registered and the case has been forwarded. It will be resolved soon. But nothing was done till now.
Then, I contacted again yesterday (Apr 9, 2013) at around 12.45pm. I was told that within 1 hour some senior fellow will contact me to resolve the issue. I waited till 2pm, but no call !! I again contacted at 2.15pm and asked why was there no call and why is there no credit has been made. The lady said “Please stay on line, I’ll be back”. SHE NEVER CAME BACK and then after around 8-9 minutes on hold, the call was cut by them !!
Then I again called, again explained the issue to the guy. He said I’ll arrange for a call within 2 hours and then said, “Please be online, I’ll connect you to some senior guy”. I don’t where he connected me, but, actually the phone was disconnected !! And still, those 2 hours are not completed !!
Till now, I neither did got any call from these fellows nor did I get my deserved cash back !!
I guess, they promise anything to make the fool of customers thinking “who will come to fight for a mere 250 !!”.
