Claim against Air India

I have booked my 2 tickets (through Rashmi Travels, Mumbai) by Air India flight No. AI-342 from Chatrapati Shivaji (BOM) Terminal Airport to Changi Intl. Arpt. (SIN), which was scheduled to depart at 00:10 hours on 29/12/2012 and arrive at Singapore at 07:50 hours (local time). I had two connecting flights from Singapore to Kualalumpur by Air Asia flight no. AK-1806 sheduled to depart at 10:00 hours (local time) & from Kualalumpur to Langkavi by Air Asia flight no. AK-6302 sheduled to depart at 14:05 hours (local time) on 29/12/2012. But Air India flight got delayed for about 4 hours and was departed at about 04:00 hours (local time). Due to which I missed my connecting flights. Ground staff of Air India at Mumbai airport assured me that ground staff of Air India at Singapore Airport will arrange for my next connecting flights. I asked them to give it in writing or give any contact number so that I can get assistance, but they refused & verbally assured me that they will help as this is their routine process to arrange connecting flights due to delay of their flight. When I reached Singapore I got no help or assistance from any Air India ground staff. As my further program was scheduled I had purchased new tickets of my connecting flights of my own. As I was not ready for such situation I had faced mental stress and suffer many problems in arranging the money as cost is tickets are very high. Any how I have bought tickets from Singapore to Kualalumpur by Air Asia Flight No.AK-1814 worth 248 SGD (Singapore Doller) & from Kualalumpur to Langkavi by Air Asia flight No.AK-6316 worth 528 MYR (Malasian Ringets). Air Asia personal at Singapore told me that some amount of my missed flights will got refunded when the tickets got cancelled. Since my tickets were booked by Rashmi travels, Mumbai, I have informed Rashmi for the cancellation of the tickets. Till now I have got any refund in this regard, neither from Air India nor from Rashmi Travels nor from Air Asia. I have contacted Rashmi Travels many times but haven’t got any satisfactory reply.
So I want to claim my money back which I had given for purchasing new tickets & compensation for the mental stress & problems I had faced in a new country due to the fault (Delay of flight) of Air India & misguidance of Air India ground staff.
