I have had a very annoying experience with Goibibo and really feel that this company is unethical.
I had called their customer support representative on 23rd March 2 times to enquire about the cancellation charges and sector change for my flight from Bangalore to Pune (PNR-P9YNOM) scheduled on 1st May but didn’t ask to cancel on the call (can be checked in the call recorded at their end).
On 24th March morning I recieved a mail that the refund has been processed for (PNR- UG99CN) for Pune to Bangalore scheduled on 27th April. I was surprised to see this mail as I never used this PNR during any call references or my online cancellation which I did for Bangalore to Pune flight (PNR-P9YNOM) on 24th March. When I called again to their customer suppor team I was told first that I cancelled it yesterday by calling them. I asked them to please check the recording,and then they said that I have done the cancellation today but have entered the wrong PNR number i.e. PNR- UG99CN. This is really really annoying and not acceptable that in order to hide your fault you just blame the customer by saying that in our system we can see this and that.
Also, I cancelled the PNR- P9YNOM in the morning around 10 am and it showed me a refund of Rs 740/- and then I clicked the confirm cancellelation button. But if I see the same PNR now it still shows booking confirmed. I still don’t understand the where exactly the issue is.
Moreover, I rasied the issue to their management team on 24th March and till date their is no reply. The system genrated mail says that the complaint will be resolved within 24hrs. If that is the commitment level from the management then what better can be expected from the employees!!
