My Name is Harish, I bought a New Phone Phone Sony Xperia Z, I had a problem in the sim card slot it had difficulty detecting the sim card the phone is brand new a 10 day old phone they told water is gone inside and it doesnt cover under warrenty, i asked them isnt it a water resistance phone they told yes and they dint have an answer for it they told sir that is correct its a water resistance phone but if water goes inside the phone then it doesnt cover under warrenty i again asked them if it is a water resistance phone how will the water go inside they told the phone cannot be dipped inside the water it can only be partially dipped, i showed them a video of the launch of the xperia z where the brand ambassador of the phone katrina putting the phone completely in water and i also told them the show case for the phone in orion mall in bangalore is putting the phone inside the water and also told them the manual of the phone and also at the launch of the phone the director of the company tells the phone can be put into water which is 1m deep and for 30minutes.. they were speechless. The solution they provided is to lodge a complain through the customer service centre and t he best part is the representative over the phone told he will take a complain but we have to give to service centre for replacement, the worst part is when look at the manual the customer support number in the manual is wron it is 1800111800, anytime you call you cannot reach them it will always tell uts busy.. when you to the service centre they give you a different number, when you call that number they tell you to go to the service centre, finally after all this i asked them can you please give it to me in writing in the letter head of your company stating its not a water proof they are not ready for that paying 40,000 for the phone and keeping it in showcase trust me it hurts im not getting a good customer service.. can someone who see this can you please help me.
