The absence of the foresight and whimsicalness to put up the so called dream projects of politicians and leader without direction have lead to take up six lannig of NH-8 between Ahmedabad and Vadodara is going to loose 40000 trees. They have started to bald the most green covered area of Gujarat State – Anand District, which is only forest as protected forest of the part. All stakeholders like NHAI, forest departments, environment clearance agencies etc. have no common sense and only selfish interests of the Mafia have decided and declared on their own to go with the project and cut all the trees on the highway. No one is making a noise to curb the process. The depletion of the oxygen release, Carbon emission and no conversion of the carbon plus new emission are not thought of at all. NHAI or other policy decision makers have no regional planning or urban / rural planning in place to work in tandem with the futuristic sustainable environment. Loosing more and more farm land in the absence of judicial use or planning of road network would make social-economical and environmental sustainability chaotic and paralysed due to this blind and mindless thought and ideas of the headless heads. Nothing is thought about changes in the climatic conditions, ecological imbalances, degradation of soil and water quality, flora and fauna; and ultimately total life. please somebody do something.
