I had taken above mentioned Tata Photon-Plus connection as per welcome Kit dated 29/10/12 signed by Mr. Sanjay Das, Head Customer Service Delivery (Scan copy enclosed).
As mentioned in the plan : 1. Rental Charge – Rs 300/- per month.
2. Free usage- 1000 MB
3. After Free Usage expiry – Rs 0.50 per MB upto 5 GB.
Post % GB, free unlimited browsing at 10kbps speed.
Hence, there was no mention of “Data Usage Charge” in the offer kit dated 29/10/12. But on downloading bill for the period 25/10/12 to 24/11/12, I surprisingly observed that “Data Usage Charge” had been levied @20 paise per MB on usage consumed.
Immediately, I wrote a letter and mailed also on 03/12/12 (copy enclosed) for withdrawal of Data Usage Charge of Rs 193.55 but no response till now received. Simultaneously, I requested for discontinuance my connection i.e. termination of relationship at the end of billing cycle 24/12/2012.
On 10/12/12 again I wrote letter as reminder and mailed the same to [email protected] & customer care office but no response has been received.
Only, I am getting telephone calls several times asking me to pay the outstanding bill amount and every time I used to brief the grievances and then they assured to resolve the problem. Till now no assertive response has been received. Problem continues. I stopped using your connection.
Moreover, it is surprisingly observed that the rental charge @ Rs 300/– has been added to the subsequent bill for the month of January,2013 in spite of my cancellation request w.e.f 24/12/12.
I have now received intimation through email dated 22/02/13 asking me to pay Rs 1393/- from
Mr. Bhaskar Bhattacharya, Service Operation ([email protected]). Immediately, I submitted entire correspondences to Mr. Bhattacharya with the request to send corrected bills to enable me make payment (copy enclosed). But till now I have not received any reply from Mr. Bhattacharya.
You are, therefore, requested to look into the matter and advise me to pay correctly computed amount without imposition of ‘Data Usage Charge’ and the rental charge added after 24/12/12 in the outstanding amount. As your organization is not responding to my several letters, I feel frustrated about your service. Hence, the disconnection/termination of Tata photon plus should continue. I commit to pay the judicious amount immediately on receipt of your reply,.
