Hi Team,
My name is Terence Pinto. On request i would provide my credit card
number. I am 2 months past due on my card due to my salary been late
and some personal issues. I received a call today on 15:25. I could
not pick up because I was on another call.
This lady calls up my office number and speaks to a colleague of mine
saying that she is calling from courier company. I was on another
call. I kept the phone and spoke to her.She said that she is calling
from HDFC Bank CC and was asking the payment. I told her to call my
cell number. I also told her since my salary has not come i could not
make payment.
I asked her to call on my cell. She called on my cell on 15:29.
I told the lady I have not received my salary yet. Once I receive i
would make my payment. She asked me date I said by 4th or 5th.
My question is I wanted to discuss with her the details as well as
some settlement that I want to do. She was insisting on how will I
make the payment. I told her will do by cheque or transfer.
I wanted to discuss on settlement she bluntly disconnected the call.
Is this how you treat your consumers. I wanted to discuss settlement
and close the account and you guys and disconnecting the call.
It was only once you called me and if phone is busy why don’t you call
after some time. I will pick up. Besides, if I mess up you people will
report my rating to CIBIL as irregular payment or defaulter.
If this is the attitude, I don’t want to continue with HDFC.
In future, if i receive any call on my office number or somebody
visiting my house/office I am going to raise a police complaint
against HDFC.
Also, i am putting a complaint on consumer forum so that people also
understand the ill-treatment faced by customers.
