I have bought a policy in Bharti axa life insurance on repetetive request from bharti axa agents.My policy name is Ajeevan Anand and policy no – 500-7578098. Policy amount is Rs35934 per year. When i Bought policy i was told that it comes under tax saving act. Even last year when i submitted my premium paid certificate as tax saving proof i was denied and told it should come under act 80CC. But in premium certificate it was mentioned that it comes under incom tax rule 1961 act. And I was told by bharti axa customer care and agent that 80cc comes under 1961act. But when i read rule 1961 act i found that 80cc act has been already ommited from incom tax rule 1961 from 1994.
