I have applied for Airtel Prepaid to postpaid migration for my mobile number 9911716454 which was ported to Airtel by looking it’s good customer services and network. Airtel representative from “Pace Communication” visited my office to collect the document on Dec 06 2012. They send a message on phone verification will be done with in 72 hours and after 72 hours they again send a message by saying due to incomplete verification migration denied. I have gone through this process four times and it is more than two and half month they are still saying sending some one for the verification but no one has came yet for the verification. I called customer services but no help at all. My call was disconnected several times. I also visited Airtel shop they told me to get a retail post paid plan instead of CUG plan which has been offered in my office. I have ported it on Airtel Facebook page and i got a call from Airtel India Escalation team. They said we are above nodal and appellate and we will resolve this. Yet they have not and even after committing so many times they never called back. In last one and half month i tried calling almost about 150 times to all the Airtel person to get this plan but no help. I though i have not taken a new number that may be the reason they are not entertaining it, so last time when i handover the document i took a new number with it to make sure this time verification will be done with my old prepaid number, but i was again wrong.
On Jan 22 2012 i got a text message from Airtel mentioning that my issue has been resolved to my satisfaction with ref number # CPTPO20122589611. I don’t know when my issue was resolved?
I work in night shift and usually i go to bed in day time, but i was not sleeping properly because every day Airtel were promising me that today they will send someone for the verification. I couldn’t slept many day and took medical leave for two day just because of the Airtel. I know that i was interested in plan offered to me and that was the only reason i have spent my precious time on you guys. Since last one and half month it was a complete mental torture given to me by Airtel. I was very patience, cool and calm but after almost one and half month i am very frustrated and want to do a court filing in civil for a compensation. I am ready to spend unlimited money for this endless fight with Airtel but i can’t leave them like this. I am shocked that Airtel feel that they are serving free of cost and don’t be greedy even if Airtel will offer a CUG plan.
