Myself Naba Kumar Haldar from Noida, UP.
I would like to inform you that i have a Car Insurance policy (Policy No.-3001/76612226/00/000) with ICICI Lombard from 06.01.2013. I have shifted my policy from Reliance Gen. Insurance to ICICI Lombard. I have filled up all the necessary data through ICICI Lombard web site and the total premium amount was come as Rs.5674/- and same i have been paid through the web site and my policy was generated.
Unfortunately my car (WB38X 1983) met with an accident on 11.01.2013 and i have sent my car for repairing to Hyundai Service center at Noida and filled up the insurance claim form on 12.01.2013. After 5 days (18.01.2013) I have received a SMS in my mobile that initial survey for claim has been completed. In the mean time the repair work was in progress. Suddenly I have received a call from Hyundai Service center that the insurance’s executive refused to pay any amount. Nobody was coordinate or call from ICICI Lombard that i was very surprised.
So, i have call to ICICI Lomabard executive (Mukesh Jain) to know what is happend. He told me that we cant pay any thing because your claim is consider as FRAUDENTAL. He said that your policy is including the NO CLAIM BONUS (NCB Rs.2141/-)but you claimed insurance on last year. but this is the fresh insurance with ICICI Lombard and i have never been claimed before.
My Observations:
1. I have filled all the data through ICICI Lombard web site and i have not claimed for any NCB that time. The Premium amount was generated automatically and I was just paid the amount.
2. This is the fresh Insurance with ICICI Lombard and I have never been claimed before. I have no question about the eligibility of NCB because i have no idea.
3. I have also been forgot that time that the last year I was demanded for any claimed or not.
So, request you please take the matter as sympathetically because of small miss undrastandig or mistake. From my side i was tried to coordinate with ICICI Lombard Representative (Vivek Mishra, Sec-16, Noida) but he behave very roughly and he is not bother at any situations which was happend and that is as a customer we are not expecting from ICICI.
I am ready to pay the NCB amount Rs.2141/- immediately.
Waiting for your advise as early as possible.
